A few problems are avoided since this site is designed specifically for disabled people. If you are an amputee, you have no reason to feel self-concious or anxious about joining this online dating site. Disabilities of any sort are practically encouraged. If you are a devotee, you don't need to shuffle through hundreds of profiles to find your perfect match.

Biggest Con

Because this site is designed for disabled people/devotees, it doesn't appeal to as many people. Also, since they don't have the same marketing budget as the bigger sites like eHarmony or Match.com, they don't get as much exposure. When you sign up for your free membership at Whispers4u.com, you have to answer a few basic questions. These include height, weight, body type, hair color, gender, eye color, type of disability (amputee is right at the top), drinking/smoking habbits, sexual orientation, marital status, and number of children. You are asked to select what kind of relationships you are interested in, and then you are given a chance to write a description of yourself and your ideal match.

After you've filled out the basic information, you can post a picture of yourself and your profile is complete. You can begin looking around, but to get the most out of your membership you do have to pay a sbuscription fee.
